We love this coat. We just switched over from.thr infant carrier to a toddler car seat and didn't want to keep binding with a blank. This jacket made it such an easy transition. Material is soft and seems warm even though it's thin. I did notice some of the stitching seems a little off but not bad enough to complain.

Fits well and good quality! I have not tried with car seat yet but don’t see that there will be any issues. Love that there are Velcro and magnets for various attachments to make it easier to get off/on!

I love the concept of this coat. I purchased the toastiest one because we live in MN and it gets quite cold. My husband has a lot of difficulty trying to use this coat properly. He says it’s “too many steps” with the unzipping and all the tucking, etc. I don’t think it’s that bad, but it definitely takes some getting used to. I thought I would like the hood on this more than I do. It kind of just gets in the way and makes the coat more cumbersome. It’s certainly not a quick in and out of the car seat with this coat, but I still like it better than bundling her in 5 blankets!

This is my first child, and her second winter, however her first winter outside the home. I could never find a good solution to keep her warm enough here in Michigan, but also didn't make her carseat buckles too loose. This coat is perfect! It is warm, but can be left unzipped as well in the seat. I love the material and pattern it's so cute! The hood zips off and magnetic closure. It's also nice it has a zipper down the front as well. It is expensive, but I'm hoping will last 2 winter seasons with the size I chose-it is large on my daughter but she Is VERY small for her age as she was a preemie. I recommend!

United StatesSolves The Dreaded Wintertime Problem
The coat is well designed and solves the dreaded issue of putting your little one in a coat only to have to take it off shortly after when you have to buckle them into their car seat. I ordered a size up for my tall gal and I can see that she might be able to use it for two winters (hopefully!). I do think its worth the price though so I will purchase again as long as she's in a car seat because buckling them into the car seat is hard enough without the additional annoying step of coat on/coat off.

I am very happy with my buckle me baby jacket. It is easy to strap my baby into his car seat and close his jacket so he can stay safe and warm. I would highly recommend this and I would buy another one.

I kept seeing this coat on Safe In The Seat and finally purchased one after a few weeks of taking off and putting on my toddlers coat a thousand times. I love that it's safe, easier than wresting her in a parking lot to quickly get her coat back on, and warm! It takes a little getting used to with all the zippers and velcro but after a couple times it's much easier. Seems warm and cozy, love that the hood is removable. It does run a touch big - my girl is primarily in a 2T so I purchased the 24 month. I do roll the sleeve and they're still a bit long, I'm not sure if 18 month would've worked better, but it's not overly big.

Gave a 4 as based on sizing chart and reviews, I expected the coat to last another season, but I expect my little one will grow out of it by next fall based on the current fit. Ordered a 12 month for my 14 month old. Slightly long in the arms but otherwise fits perfectly.

I love the coat and concept but I do find it hard and tricky to still take off while in the car seat. I might try moving the seat upright to see if it helps. My only flaw is the magnet by the hood is not as good as the back ones so it’s always falling off.

I wanted to love this coat but I only like it. Let me start by saying YES this coat will absolutely keep your child safer in their car seat with a coat on. But it’s kind of a pain (I think) to zip on and off. First my daughters hair keeps getting stuck in the Velcro, not a design flaw, just stinks. But the Sherpa gets stuck in the zipper every time I zip it up. It helps if I do the shoulder Velcro first but still obnoxious. Finally once I get everything undone to buckle her up she’s Just swimming in all this extra coat. She doesn’t like it folded back over and it doesn’t roll as easy as portrayed in the video. Then to get it back in her, I end up taking her out of the car with it unzipped anyway because it’s easier standing than sitting. The hood also makes her look bulky sitting in the seat but that is very easy to take off and on. Also, for the “toastiest” coat, I would have liked to have seen more Sherpa in the sleeves. It’s roomy enough for me to layer her up good with sweatshirts but I spent the money on this not thinking I’d have to buy an outdoor coat and I think I still will. Overall, yes my child is ABSOLUTELY safer in her car seat. It just adds some time each trip to get her in and out so plan for that.

I purchased as a gift for my God-daughter! Wish that these coats were around when my boy (now a teenager) was in a car seat. Very comfortable, cozy and safe.
