I have used these coats for several years. I absolutely love the updated coat! The 18 month coat fit my son from 18 months until almost 3 years old. He still fit the coat while he was wearing 2T clothing. These run big so you get lots of use out of them.

I finally gave in and purchased our first carseat jacket. 4 kids and I waited until the last one for this brilliant article of clothing. Wisconsin winters are brutal but this jacket makes it so much smoother. My son is just fitting into 2t, I went with a 3t jacket for longer use and we have to roll the sleeves, otherwise it works perfectly. I'd say it is true to a 3t size. It took a little patience to get him settled the first time using but he is so much happier without a bulky blanket on him. I seriously cannot believe I didn't have one of these before now. Never going back. And I'm recommending to everyone I know!

I think this is a great idea. The coat is actually pretty warm. I haven't used it yet, but I'm concerned that he might get too hot and sweat in it in his car seat, even with the front opened.

When I came across these coats I was immediately in love with the idea. We are on our second winter, second coat, and I am so so happy. The fit is perfect, its easy to open the Velcro, strap my daughter in and then zip her up. She's warmer and more comfortable on our morning commute!

Don’t let the “toast” rating fool you, this coat is warm! Warm enough for everyday use to take your baby in the car in the winter. The cost is stylish and easy to use. You’re going to soend $30-$40 on a cost anywhere else so you might as well spend a little extra and get this car seat coat. I’m impressed.
